Enrollment for fall 2025 admission to our nursing program is extremely limited, and applicants must meet all requirements outlined below in order to apply. No exceptions will be made. Applicants will not be admitted to any alternate majors.
Criteria to Apply:
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet all requirements below (

1. Have earned no more than than 36 undergraduate credits overall.
2. Have an overall GPA of at least 3.250.
3. Have a health science GPA average of at least 3.000.
4. Completed all of the following courses (by May 31). To determine course equivalencies, please visit our
Transfer Dictionary
Anatomy and Physiology I and II with labs (UML course numbers: HSCI.1010, HSCI.1030, HSCI.1020, HSCI.1040)
College Writing I and II (UML course numbers: ENGL.1010, ENGL.1020)
Introduction to Sociology (UML course number: SOCI.1010)
Introduction to Psychological Sciences (UML course number: PSYC.1010)
One semester of Microbiology with a lab (UML course numbers: HSCI.2110, HSCI.2130, OR BIOL.2020, BIOL.2030L)
*Transfer admissions is based on space availability, and the transfer may only occur at (or before) the sophomore level when nursing courses are initiated. In 2023, 2 seats were available to transfer students.
Other courses (Arts, Sciences, and Electives) that are accepted by the University are transferable to meet requirements.
